The process of adding a soundtrack to a powerpoint slideshow is significantly more difficult than it should be and quite counterintuitive. After following directions from help, microsoft, and other sources, i found that lots of things don't work as they should, but the following method works repeatably with only a few steps.

Every time i do something outdoors, I have a hard time deciding what food to bring. While i usually prefer some sort of trail mix, it can be hard to contain, keep track of, and eat while hiking. Prepackaged energy bars are so convenient, but they're always overpriced, individually packaged, and usually have some unnecessary and even unhealthy ingredients.

I decided to come up with my own recipe for energy bars. They're pretty similar to Clif Nectar bars, but they're cheaper and taste better.

One of my photographs was recently used on this flyer for the Mazamas Basic Climbing Education Program (BCEP). I joined the Mazamas soon after I moved to Oregon. Nothing from the east coast even remotely compares to the glaciated volcanoes out here. I knew i would have to start climbing, and I knew I had a lot to learn.
